Privacy Notice
Effective September 27, 2026 · Version 2026-09-27
This notice explains how Zuran handles personal information in connection with its website, onboarding, scheduling application, support, and related business services.
1. Our role
Zuran provides scheduling software to business customers. For directory, calendar, and project information processed on a customer’s instructions, the customer generally determines why the information is processed and Zuran acts as its service provider. Zuran determines how it handles website inquiries, account administration, billing, security, and its own business operations.
2. Information we process
Depending on how the service is used, Zuran may process business contact and account information; Microsoft or Google organization, user, directory, calendar-setting, and authorization identifiers; calendar availability facts; scheduling inputs, projects, drafts, responses, and accepted plans; subscription and transaction references from Stripe; support communications; and limited technical and security information such as IP address, request identifiers, timestamps, and session records.
Zuran is designed not to expose private calendar subjects, bodies, locations, or attendee lists merely to show that a person is unavailable. Zuran does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and administer the service, verify organizations and authorized users, calculate availability, propose schedules, carry out reviewed calendar and email actions, process subscriptions, respond to support, secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, keep necessary audit records, comply with law, and enforce agreements.
Zuran does not sell personal information or Customer Data and does not use Customer Data for targeted advertising.
4. Microsoft and Google access
Organization connectors use administrator-approved, read-only permissions for organization information, eligible user profiles, calendar settings, and calendars. They cannot send mail or modify calendars. Planner calendar and mail actions use delegated access for the signed-in planner and occur only after a planner directs the action. Access can be revoked through Microsoft or Google, which may disable related functions.
5. Google API data and Limited Use
Zuran uses Google account information to authenticate authorized business users and bind them to the correct Zuran account. For a connected Google planner, Zuran reads Calendar settings to apply the correct time zone, creates and manages events on calendars the planner owns after the planner reviews a plan, and sends planner-directed scheduling messages through Gmail. For an administrator-approved Google Workspace organization connector, Zuran reads eligible directory profiles, Calendar settings, and calendar events needed to calculate availability. That connector cannot send mail or modify calendars.
Zuran’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or secure the user-facing scheduling features described in this Notice. It is not sold, used for advertising, used to determine creditworthiness, or used to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
6. How information is disclosed
Information may be available to authorized users within the same customer account according to role, organization, planner, and project controls. At a planner’s direction, intended meeting recipients may receive scheduling communications and calendar invitations.
Zuran also uses service providers for essential operations, including Microsoft and Google for identity, directory, calendar, and planner-directed communication; Stripe for payment processing and subscription status; and Render for application and database hosting. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect security or rights, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Cookies
The Zuran application uses first-party cookies and similar storage needed for authentication, security state, onboarding, and limited application preferences. The public website does not use advertising trackers.
8. Retention
Zuran retains information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, satisfy customer instructions, keep required business and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Calendar information used to calculate availability is handled through a short-lived cache rather than durable storage of raw private calendar content. Microsoft and Google authorization records are removed or made unusable when no longer needed, subject to security, backup, and legal-retention requirements.
9. Security
Zuran uses safeguards designed for the information it processes, including HTTPS, secure sessions, tenant- and user-scoped authorization, fail-closed Microsoft and Google access, encrypted stored delegated-token caches, signed and expiring capabilities, restricted logging, Stripe signature verification, and duplicate-operation protections. No security measure eliminates all risk.
10. Choices and requests
Depending on location and context, a person may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection. If Zuran processes information solely for a customer, we may direct the request to that customer. We may verify identity and authority and may retain information where permitted or required for security, transactions, legal compliance, or legal claims.
11. Business service and children
Zuran is a business service intended for authorized adult professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
12. Changes
We may update this notice as the service or legal requirements change. The revised version will show a new effective date, and material changes will receive reasonable notice.
13. Contact
Privacy questions, requests, and security reports may be sent to support@zuranlabs.com.
